1. Rental Agreement

By renting a vehicle from M&P Shore Leasing, you agree to these terms and conditions. This agreement governs the rental of vehicles for rideshare purposes in New Jersey.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a rental, you must:

• Hold a valid New Jersey driver's license
• Have a clean driving record with no major violations
• Have no relevant criminal background
• Maintain active rideshare insurance
• Have an approved and active Uber or Lyft driver account
• Commit to a minimum one-month rental period

3. Rental Terms

3.1 Minimum Rental Period

All rentals require a minimum commitment of one (1) month. Early termination may result in additional fees.

3.2 Payment Schedule

Rental payments are due weekly. Payment must be received on the scheduled due date to maintain your rental.

3.3 Toll Charges

All toll charges incurred during the rental period will be billed weekly in addition to your regular rental payment.

4. Vehicle Use

The rented vehicle may only be used for:

• Rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) with proper insurance
• Personal transportation related to rideshare activities

Prohibited uses include but are not limited to:

• Illegal activities
• Racing or reckless driving
• Subleasing to another person
• Driving outside of New Jersey without prior approval

5. Insurance Requirements

You must maintain active rideshare insurance coverage throughout the entire rental period. Proof of insurance must be provided before vehicle delivery and upon renewal.

6. Vehicle Maintenance

You are responsible for:

• Keeping the vehicle clean and in good condition
• Reporting any damage or mechanical issues immediately
• Following scheduled maintenance as directed
• Returning the vehicle in the same condition as received (normal wear excepted)

7. Liability

You are responsible for all damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including but not limited to accidents, theft, vandalism, and traffic violations. You agree to pay all fines, penalties, and fees incurred during your rental.

8. Termination

M&P Shore Leasing reserves the right to terminate this rental agreement immediately if:

• Payment is not received on time
• Insurance coverage lapses
• The vehicle is used for prohibited purposes
• You violate any terms of this agreement
• Your rideshare account is suspended or terminated

9. Service Area

M&P Shore Leasing operates throughout New Jersey. Vehicle delivery and pickup are available statewide.
